Keeping It Simple

I was inspired by a daily post that was written back in January titled “Keep It  Simple.” Of course the post I read was about words. But after reading it I applied it to creating art. Sometimes artists too get carried away adding details to their art that don’t say anything or add to the painting. They are just added because the artist thinks the more is better. And they don’t know when to put down their brush.  Adding  more doesn’t always make it better.

So I decided to apply this to my painting. Just keeping it simple enough to get my idea across without all the extra embellishments.   Sometimes the best things can be the simplest!
